Silver and Gold

“There is a metallic shimmer to light, that is fleeting and ever-changing. I’m chasing after vanishing light, and trying to catch things I don’t understand. The paintings in this show are part of an ongoing exploration of two different qualities of light — the warm glow of yellow-gold at sunrise or sundown, and the cool glint of gray-silver on an overcast day.” — Vincent Crotty
